I was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina. Since being very young I have always had a passion for entrepreneurship. In elementary school, my father would sell snacks to kids in our neighborhood and whenever he was away from the house I would take over from him. His home business jumpstarted my passion for entrepreneurship. In middle school I took his business on the road and began selling candy out of my backpack. At Asheville High, in addition to selling candy, I also began selling sneakers on eBay. Now that I am in college I am focusing my efforts on the expanding into mobile app market. My long-term goal is to be a serial entrepreneur and Venture Capitalist in Brazil. Taking advantage of various programs in Asheville has greatly assisted me in my journey to be a serial entrepreneur. Some of the programs I have had the privilege of participating in are the Young Entrepreneurial Scholars program at the AB-Tech Incubator, multiple internships with the City of Asheville Youth Leadership Academy including internships with the Asheville Chamber of Commerce, and Venture Asheville, among other programs. I encourage every student that I come into contact with in the Asheville area to get involved in the myriad of prestigious programs that the Asheville area offers.
