Jamie Beasley has been working with Wheels4Hope in Asheville for almost 2 years – first as a volunteer and now as a staff member. Previously, Jamie worked for Mountain BizWorks for eight years in various roles including Director of Development and Communications. Jamie is a fluent Spanish speaker, has an undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond in Religious Studies, Spanish, and Communication Studies, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration through Western Carolina University. Jamie and his wife, Jen, have lived in Asheville for 13 years and have two (about to be 3) young daughters. Wheels4Hope repairs donated cars and matches them with economically vulnerable people who need them. A car that starts opens the door to education, employment, independence, and an improved quality of life. Our model bolsters the work of trusted partners by placing the vehicles with their clients – the ones they believe need them the most.
